How do I get paid?
Sign up, create a payment link with an amount and description, and share it. When someone pays, the USDC goes directly to your wallet instantly.
What is USDC?
USDC is a stablecoin — a digital dollar that is always worth $1 USD. It is issued by Circle and backed 1:1 by US dollar reserves.
Are there fees?
Payers pay $0 in fees. Creators pay a 0.5% fee on received payments. There are no hidden charges, no monthly fees, and no minimums.
Can payers pay with a credit card?
Yes. Every payment link supports both USDC and card payments (Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay). Payers choose whichever method they prefer.
How fast is settlement?
Payments settle in under 1 second on the Tempo blockchain. There is no 3-5 business day wait like traditional bank transfers or ACH.
Do I need a crypto wallet?
No. When you sign up with Settle, a wallet is created for you automatically. You never need to manage seed phrases, gas fees, or blockchain details.
What is Tempo?
Tempo is a purpose-built blockchain for payments from Stripe. It has sub-second finality, fees paid in stablecoins (not gas tokens), and native support for payment memos and fee sponsorship.
Can I create a public payment page?
Yes. Claim a handle (like @yourname) and get a public profile page where anyone can pay you or view your active payment links.
Is Settle free to use?
Yes. Creating an account, creating payment links, and sharing them is completely free. The only fee is 0.5% on received payments.
